AI communication for business

Atly uses AI to understand inbound communication and draft outbound work — not to autonomously message your customers. Human approval is the default for customer-facing sends.

What AI does in Atly

  • Reads email, WhatsApp, SMS and voicemail context (where enabled)
  • Drafts replies, calendar proposals and follow-up actions
  • Powers the Communication Architect (customer-facing: Assistant) during number setup
  • Formats morning briefings from hard facts in your database (Channel Facts Layer)

What AI does not do

  • Send WhatsApp, SMS or email to customers without approval (except configured auto-ack templates)
  • Train public foundation models on your data
  • Replace your judgment on pricing, contracts or legal commitments
  • Act as authority over sends — models format and propose; humans approve

Communication Architect

The Architect is a conversational overlay on the company-number wizard. You describe your business, channels and workflows. Atly persists a Blueprint and Setup Journey after you approve the plan. Externally this is presented as the Assistant.

Channel Facts vs inferences

Atly separates hard counts (emails received today, pending actions) from uncertain inferences. Briefings and dashboards ground on Postgres facts; LLM text labels them clearly. This reduces hallucinated business metrics.

Open API and MCP

Tenant Open API and product MCP let external assistants read your firm's day and draft actions that still queue for human approval in the app. AI extends your workflow — it does not bypass it.
