Communication infrastructure for business
Communication infrastructure is the layer between your business processes and the telecom providers that move calls, texts and messages. Atly is that layer for European small and medium businesses.
Below the application, above the carrier
Traditional stack:
- Carrier / CPaaS — Twilio, Telnyx, mobile networks (raw APIs)
- Infrastructure layer — number provisioning, routing, webhooks, channel normalization
- Application — inbox, calendar, jobs, approvals, AI drafts
Atly occupies the infrastructure layer plus the SMB-facing application. You do not wire webhooks yourself.
Provider abstraction
Customers buy Atly number SKUs, not provider accounts. Atly:
- Maintains platform Twilio and Telnyx relationships
- Provisions numbers and registers WhatsApp Business profiles
- Normalizes inbound events into `Conversation` and `Message` models
- Routes outbound SMS and WhatsApp through the correct provider per company
The Provider Engine scores catalog entries deterministically — country, channels, porting, regulatory fit, cost.
Programmable business number
Your number becomes programmable: connected to email sync, calendar write-back, approval queue, Open API v1 and tenant MCP. External systems can read state and queue drafts; execution still flows through HITL.
European SKU marketplace
Atly targets EU-oriented residency and multi-country SMB needs. Live providers cover Czechia, Slovakia, Germany, UK, Poland, Benelux, Nordics and more — see EU business phone coverage for the current matrix.
Not infrastructure you host
Atly is a managed cloud service (atly.work). You do not deploy SIP trunks, SBCs or WhatsApp BSP hardware. You configure business needs; Atly runs the pipes.
